  9. Here it is now and some new images too, for the popupbuttons.

  14. Also included Xhelvetica font, in case you've missed it (yeah... right!).

  16. I appologize for any inconvinience. The archive was put together as a quick
  17. response to several requests on my previously uploaded WB snaps, like where
  18. did you get that pattern kind of questions!

  22. DESCRIPTION

  24. This archive contains some replacement MUI images and patterns.
  25.  
  26. The arrow buttons and the cyclegadget image is in the future/flat style found in
  27. VisualPrefs (also found on Aminet) by Massimo Tantignone but use the Xen-alike
  28. gradients as background (only the arrowbut's). Another thing is that the
  29. arrowbuttons are really square (18x18) and not false square like 18x16 or
  30. something. This applies to the new popupimages too, it's just that their corners
  31. are rounded like the buttonframe style I use in MUI prefs and they're also in size
  32. 19x19!

  34. The checkmark and radiobutton images are an attempt to copy the only great thing
  35. with Win95/NT(Ouch!), their checkmark and radiobuttons, that is! I have to say
  36. though that I was inspired by that shitlips archive also found on Aminet, but
  37. those images has no white background, as in Win95/NT. These images looks great
  38. on webpages in IBrowse or VNG.

  40. There's also a font in this archive called NewRecall and I use it as MUI group
  41. label font. I don't know where I got this font from but respect to the author
  42. because I really love it. I use it as my screenfont too and I hope the author
  43. doesn't mind me including it in this archive.

  45. You'll should know about the Xhelvetica by now, but in case not, I've included
  46. it as well.

  48. Pattern number 1 is the widely used Amigapattern found on numorous Webpages and
  49. I've just made copies of it in different shades so it looks good both as button,
  50. lister and group backdrops.
  51. Pattern number 2 is originally some flames pattern I've found somewhere. I have
  52. converted it to red in three different shades and I use it as Marker background
  53. in the lister and as button background in pressed state.

  55. I have also included some snapshots of my MUIPrefs window to give you an idea of
  56. how it looks like with my setup. (And yes, the fabulous "windowborder enhancment"
  57. is VisualPrefs up and running).

  69. After unpacking the archive somewhere:
  70.  
  71. Copy the contents of the Images drawer to MUI:Images.
  72. Copy the contents of the Patterns drawer to MUI:Patterns.
  73. Copy the contents of the Presets drawer to MUI:Presets
  74. Copy the contents of the Fonts drawer to your systems Fonts: drawer.

  76. Now you have to reboot your system (at least I have to) in order to make MUI
  77. understand that there's a new drawer in it's images drawer! There should be a
  78. really clever or simple solution to this without having to reboot, but I haven't
  79. bothered to figure it out yet! Then start your MUI prefsprogram and reconfigure
  80. the images and patterns you want replaced. I think the arrowbuttons looks best
  81. in cooperation with the XEN-gradient images in the original MUI archive.

  83. To test the whole package, danm stylee, load the danm.prefs preset from the
  84. presets drawer!!!
